If you're sure you want to learn faceting and there are no clubs nearby you can buy your own equpment and learn at your own pace.

Buying a brand new high quality machine is a great way to get started if you can afford it. Quality used machines can also be a great entry point if you are willing to learn how to check it's functionality and preform any neccessary matiance. It is highly reccomended that you stay away from the cheap (under $1000) new machines on Amazon or Ebay. They aren't precise or accurate enough to cut quality gemstones.
